Our Ethos

Ant Insurance is extremely proud that they were the first standalone online provider of Payment Protection Insurance and, in keeping with our ethos, led the way in product transparency. From the beginning we have tried to do this by avoiding too much “insurance speak” but where it cannot be avoided have provided extracts in bite sized digestible pieces.

Where we have led others have followed but we continue to be leaders in ensuring that the information is clear, transparent and accessible. Everything you need to know will be available and not hidden away. 

Giving you the power to make informed choices is central to our company policy. There is no point in buying a policy if you do not understand if it will pay out when you need it.

Our feelings about Comparison Websites

When they were first launched we approached a now leading Comparison Website and were shocked at the level of commission that they required.

In order to be listed we would have had to increase our customer premium considerably, or reduce the quality of our cover; either option would have been against our whole ethos. So in spite of the fact that we were providing one of the most competitive quotes on the internet, with a uniquely flexible policy, we did not feature on any comparison website.

We will never pay commission to any comparison site preferring to pass those savings onto our customers in cheaper premiums and better quality products.

It is now pleasing to find out that some of our leading insurance providers are feeling the same!
