For unemployment insurance you will need to take an Accident, Sickness & Unemployment (ASU). Such policies are designed to pay you monthly benefits in the event that you lose your income as a result of accident, sickness or unemployment.

Unemployment insurance is available as either income protection insurance or as mortgage payment protection insurance.

Unemployment Insurance as Income Protection Insurance protects
your monthly salary should you lose your income due to Accident, Sickness or Unemployment.
- Cover up to 65% of your gross monthly income to a maximum of
£1500 per month
- Back to Day 1 or mix and match excess periods
- Cover for Employees, Self employed, Contract workers, Sub-Contract workers and those
with more than one job
- Carer Cover for unemployment is included
- Back to work service is included

Unemployment Insurance as Mortgage Protection Insurance protects
your monthly mortgage payments should you lose your income due to Accident, Sickness
or Unemployment.
- Mortgage protection plus up to an extra 25% for
other household bills
- Cover up to 75% of your gross monthly income to a maximum of
£1500 per month
- Back to Day 1 or mix and match excess periods with flexible benefit
periods of 6 or 12 months
- Cover for Employees, Self employed, Contract workers, Sub-Contract workers and those
with more than one job
- Carer Cover for unemployment is included
- Back to work service is included
